Trinlo

bei Aidonochori · Αηδονοχώρι

Trinlo, the Ravenna list's Trillon, is probably Tragilos, a Thracian town in the Bisaltian country on the right bank of the Strymon, near today's Aidonochori. It was the home of Asclepiades, who wrote a work on the stories of tragedy, and its plentiful coins of the 5th century BC show it independent of Athens. Destroyed around 400 BC, it moved a little to the south-east and shrank to a small market village. The map's ten miles fit only if the road ran to Amphipolis, not to Philippis as drawn.
