Trispeda is broken in two on the map: its first four letters end one parchment sheet, while the rest of the name and the distance figure open the next, probably carried over on purpose by a copyist. So it is not quite certain whether one name or two is meant. The station has been sought near Marand or at Tabriz, and Ormi is another suggestion. The map counts twenty Roman miles from Filadelfia and forty-five on to Paresaca.
