Priscu Taberna

Tombia?

Priscu Taberna was an inn on the road through Cyrenaica, as the second word of its name says, thirty Roman miles from Ad Puteum and eighteen from Corniclanu. Older research placed it opposite a bird island called Eriscia, north of the mouth of the Wadi Faregh; one suggestion is Tombia in Libya. The Ravenna list shortens the name to Priscum, and the station belongs to late antique times.
