Ocurura
Kara (Miller) · Ghunthur? (Barrington)
Ocurura is probably the Otthara of the late Roman register of commands, a fort on the frontier held by the commander in Phoenicia and the base of a cavalry unit called the Moors of Illyricum. Its site was perhaps at Ghunthur in Syria. On the map it lies on the branch across the Antilebanon, fifteen Roman miles, about twenty-two kilometres, from both Adarin and Deleda.
