Odiana
Bordj-Bou-Lares (Barrington) · Hadjar (Miller)
Odiana, which the Roman register of routes calls Onellaba, was a settlement on the highway from Carthage by way of Bulla Regia to Hippo Regius. Its ruins lie on the Oued el-Kebir, the main tributary of the Oued Mafrag, south of Hippo Regius, at Bordj Bou Lares. Libyan inscriptions are known from the country around it, Roman ones from the site itself. The map shows only the name, fifty Roman miles from Hippo Regius, exactly as the register counts, and twenty-five more to the unnamed stop that follows.
