Dozens of Latin inscriptions have been found at Ad Aquas, a station on the road from Simitthu to Hippo Regius, just five Roman miles from Simitthu. The name means 'at the waters', and the place is Hammam in Tunisia, close to the Roman town of Thuburnica.
