Ad Aquas Herculis, 'at the waters of Hercules', was a station in Numidia on the road from Lambaesis, nine Roman miles beyond Ad Calceum Herculis, now El Kantara in Algeria. Near Ksar Sidi el Hadj, warm sulphur springs still pour into ancient basins.
