Tuniza

La Calle

Tuniza is probably La Calle on the Algerian coast, a site in use in Roman and late antique times and perhaps even earlier. Besides the map, the Roman register of routes knows it under the same name, and the Ravenna list has it twice, once as Tuniza and once as Tunica. On the map it is a plain name without a picture, fifteen Roman miles from the previous stop and twenty-four from Cabraca.
