Road station
Casama
Nabk (Barrington)
Casama was a military post in the Palmyrene, the region of Palmyra, where the late Roman list of commands places native mounted archers under the commander in Phoenicia. It is probably Nabk in Syria, though older research preferred Deir Atiyeh. A castle called Qasam in the Hauran sounds similar, but the map's distances rule it out. The station sits twenty Roman miles, about thirty kilometres, from both Ad Amana and Cehere.
