Casinomago lay between Auch and Toulouse, perhaps near Gimont. The map is puzzling here: the road to Toulouse is drawn as three pieces, the first carrying the name, the second blank, the third only a distance figure, so it is unclear whether they form one stretch or whether a station has lost its name. An older placement at Lombez or Samatan rested on a misread number; read correctly, the map's two figures add up exactly to the distance the pilgrim from Bordeaux gives between Toulouse and Auch.
