Adarin

Qtaife? (Barrington)

Listen to the story

Adarin is the point where the road on the map divides: one branch runs fifteen Roman miles, about twenty-two kilometres, to Ocurura and on across the Antilebanon, the other twelve miles to Ad Amana on the road to Palmyra. The stop itself is marked only by the fork, with the name written on the upper branch. It lies ten miles beyond Ad Medera, probably at Qtaife; older research sought it at ruins south of Qastal.
