Road station
Ad Basilicam Diadumene
Tiourga (Barrington) · Hr. el Biar (Miller)
Ad Basilicam Diadumene, at the hall of Diadumenus, was a station on the road from Lambaesis towards the oases west and south of the Aurès mountains, probably at Henchir el Biar, where inscriptions have been found. The name may be linked to Diadumenianus, son of the emperor Macrinus and emperor himself in 218; Macrinus had once been banished to Africa. On the map the name sits below Lambafudi, and its road line simply hooks onto the line above; in truth it belongs between Lambese and Lambiridi.
