Ad Medera

Quseyr? (Barrington)

Ad Medera is just a name on the map, without a picture, twenty-six Roman miles out of Damascus and ten before Adarin. It is probably Quseyr in Syria. Older research looked for it at Qtaife instead, by a brook that runs out into a salt marsh, or at the ruins of Khirbet Maksura near Dumeir. The station seems to belong to late antiquity.
