Casa Rimoniana

Casa Rimoniana begins with casa, the Latin word for a simple house, and lay on or near the coast of Tripolitania, by the Wadi Sasu in Libya. The map sets it twenty-five Roman miles from Tubactis and twenty-five from Ad Cisternas. Its last two letters have almost faded, and older research read the name as Runoniana; the Ravenna list has Rusticiana, by the sea. The Roman register of routes may know the same stop as Base.
