Chanmaudi, twenty-two Roman miles from Minnocerta and sixteen from Thilapsum, has a name that sounds almost like Thamaudi, a stop on another road near Nisibis, and older research set the two side by side. The station itself has been placed at the ruins of Charaba. On the map it is a name only, without a drawing.
