Channunia

Channunia lay on the road from Antioch on the Orontes to Samosata, in the land of Commagene, twenty Roman miles from Cyrro on one side and twenty-eight from Dolica on the other. It is probably the Chaonia of the geographer Ptolemy, and the Roman register of routes calls it Hanunea. The station has been placed near Kahris.
