Road station

Augarmi

Henchir Kredema (Barrington)

Augarmi was a station on a military road that set out from Tacape, the modern Gabès on the Lesser Syrtis; by the map's own figures it lay forty-one Roman miles, about sixty-one kilometres, from there. It seems to be the Augemmi of the Roman register of routes, and the Ravenna list writes Agarmi. Proposed sites include Henchir Kredema, Ksar Medenine and the ruins of Kouetin. The next leg runs twenty-five miles to the river Ausere.
