Road station
Ardinco
an der Mündung des Kıbledağı Dere
Ardinco is probably a slip for Adineo, the station at the mouth of the river Adienos, the Kıbledağı Dere on the Black Sea coast of Turkey. A Greek guide to the coasts already knew the place in the 4th century BC. The map puts it eighteen Roman miles from Reila and sixteen from Athenis, and draws the stretch to Athenis as two. Some older copies read Ardineo, and the Ravenna list perhaps garbles the name as Gudiono or Gadinio.
