Road station
Zacoria
Çayağzı ?
Zacoria is the Zagora of Arrian's guide to the Black Sea coast, a station on the great coastal road from Sinope to Trapezus. It probably lay at Çayağzı, at the mouth of the Aksu Çayı, a spot sheltered by rocks; a later anonymous guide to the coast also gives it a second name, Kallipous. The garbled form already stood in the late Roman source that the map shares with the Ravenna list. Trapezus, the goal of the road, the map has mistakenly moved to the northern shore of the Black Sea.
