Nautagino
östl. Ende des Kızıl Irmak-Deltas
Nautagino is a mangled Naustathmos, a harbour, or at least an open anchorage, on the Black Sea coast at the eastern end of the Kızılırmak delta, beside a lagoon that bore its name and is now called Balık Gölü. Like many names on this stretch of coast, it seems to come from a hard-to-read Greek source, perhaps a sailors' guide to the coast. Roman and Byzantine bricks and tiles have been found in the area. On the map the stretch on to Ezene is drawn as two, with an empty kink in the road line where no station is named.
