Orgibate

Kurzuvet

Orgibate lay on the Black Sea coast at Kurzuvet and is usually equated with Gurzubanthon. The Ravenna list names it too, once in the form Orgicate. On the map the station stands without any distance figure at all, neither from Cloptasa nor on to Zacoria; older research put the missing stretch to Zacoria at about ten to twelve Roman miles.
