Sutoru

Optatiana is a Roman road station at Sutoru in Romania, on the road through Dacia, sixteen Roman miles, about twenty-four kilometres, from Napoca and fifteen before Largiana. The list of places compiled in Ravenna names it beside a station called Macedonica on the way to Napoca, apparently after the Fifth Legion Macedonica, whose soldiers were stationed in this province. On the map the stretch on to Largiana has no marked start, and its distance figure is written right across the line of a river.
