Bulakbaşı

Paracata, the first stop on the road out of Artaxata towards Satala, lay twenty-three Roman miles from the Armenian capital and thirty-three from Coloceia. It is placed at Bulakbaşı in eastern Turkey, where, according to older research, a far older fortress called Parachot once stood. On the map the station is just a name, without a picture.
