Road station

Strangira

Strangira was the last stop before Artaxata, the Armenian capital, which lay thirty Roman miles further on; Condeso was fourteen miles back. The Ravenna list calls it Stranguria and even a civitas, a town in its own right, which marks it as a place of some importance. Older research put it in or near Armavir.
