Pardua

Gornji Gradac near Ljubinje

Pardua lay at Gornji Gradac near Ljubinje in Herzegovina, on the road from Narona to Ad Zizio, though the map never drew its road line. The list of places compiled in Ravenna gives it a second name: Pardua, that is Stamnes. Around Gradac foundations, Roman tiles, spearheads, milestones, a cemetery, wells and a coin of Elagabalus have come to light. The map's fourteen miles from Diluntum seemed too many to older research, which allowed twelve at most.
