Pedonianis

Vadin

Pedonianis was a station on the Danube road through Lower Moesia, at Vadin in Bulgaria, between Augustae and Oescus; Roman inscriptions have been found nearby at Ostrov. The list of places compiled in Ravenna writes Pedolanis. The map sets Pedonianis twenty Roman miles from Augustae and eleven from Oescus.
