Pallanum, a station of the Frentani on the coast road near Paglieta in the Abruzzo, is known only from this map and from the list of places compiled in Ravenna. The map sets it four Roman miles from Annum and twelve from Istonium. That twelve is split, with its last two strokes written above the rest, because an unnamed river drawn right beside it left no room.
