Pache
Alepochori · Αλεποχώρι
Pache is Pagae, the harbour of Megara on the Gulf of Corinth, at Alepochori in Greece. On the way there Pausanias saw a rock still bristling with arrows that the Persians had shot into it one night, and in the town a bronze statue of Artemis the Saviour and a shrine of the hero Aegialeus, son of Adrastus. The map's spelling, with ch for g and a single e at the end, reflects a late pronunciation of Pagae.
