Parhe

j. Balistan oder Sultanabad (Miller)

Parhe has been compared with Parsia, which the geographer Ptolemy calls the capital of the Parsii in the Paropamisadae, while another reading took it for Phra, a station in the road book of Isidore of Charax. Suggested sites are Balistan or Sultanabad. Fifteen Roman miles separate it from Palitas, but the next leg is a long one: seventy-five miles to Propasta.
