Parthona

Parwan (südlich vom Hindukus)

Parthona lay fifteen Roman miles beyond Aspacora, and a long stage of fifty more led on to Magaris. On the map it is just a name on the road line, with no drawing beside it. Two very different sites have been proposed: Parwan, south of the Hindu Kush, or Sarsang or Deh Hadji on the upper Murghab river.
