Road station
Lappa
Aryiroúpolis
Lappa, today's Argyroupoli in Crete, was a station on the inland road that the map draws across the west of the island, nine miles from Cisamos and thirty-two on to Eleuterna. The record holds little more than its place on the map and these two figures, so the town's own story has to be told by other sources.
