Cantano

Kándanos, Κάνδανος

Cantano is Kantanos, today's Kandanos in the hills of south-western Crete, on the road that the map draws from Cisamos on the north coast down to Liso on the southern shore. It lies twenty-four miles from Cisamos and sixteen, about twenty-four kilometres, from Liso. The record holds nothing more about the Roman town than its place on this mountain road.
