Chantelle-la-Vielle?
Cantilia is Chantelle, north of Gannat, on the road from Clermont to Poitiers. The list of places compiled in Ravenna gives the same name, the Gallo-Roman bishop Sidonius Apollinaris mentions the church of Cantilla in a letter, and the Frankish royal annals for 761 name Cantilla together with Bourbon and Clermont. Older research found the map's distances on both sides exact. Along the road south, milestones were found at Aigueperse and at Enval, one of them from the year 46.
