Lapidaria

Bei Zillis-Andeer ?

Listen to the story

Lapidaria, the stony place, was an inn on the Roman road from Chur over the Splügen pass to Lake Como, named after its rocky surroundings. It probably stood near Zillis and Andeer, above the Via Mala, the gorge of the Hinterrhein, though some place it at the village of Splügen, where the roads over the pass divide.
