Cilca Novum, New Cilca, is known only from this map, a station in Cappadocia on the road from Comana to Samosata. It may have stood at Nurhak, where maps mark a han, a roadside inn, and where the road to Germanicia, a town the map does not show, branched off. Its neighbours are close by: the map gives five to Salandona and five to Arianodum, small figures that older research read not as Roman miles but as parasangs, a Persian measure.
