Road station

Pagrum

? östl. von Elbistan, Kahramanmaraş ? oder bei Ördekköy, Gerger ?

Pagrum appears nowhere but on this map, a station on the road from Comana in Cappadocia to Melitene. Where it lay depends on how far one trusts the map. A site east of Elbistan would leave it much too far from the previous station, while one near Ördekköy fits the map's figures better. A bolder suggestion holds that the whole road is misplaced and links the station with Pahri, a fortress in the Assyrian annals, near Düziçi or Bahçe, but Pahri is more likely Mopsuestia. Two roads went on from here, one of them by way of Yarpuz, where a milestone marked one hundred was found.
