Adraha

Derʿât

Adraha is the biblical Edrei, remembered as a chief city of Bashan and the seat of its legendary king Og, and later given to the tribe of Manasseh. Under the Romans it became one of the leading towns of the province of Arabia, and from the fourth to the fifth century it had a bishop. The place is Daraa in Syria, a town that stands on several older cities lying one on top of another. On the map it is simply a name on the road from Bostra to Capitolias.
