Road station

Ad Putea

Riben

Ad Putea, at the wells, lay at today's Riben, where a Latin inscription has been found. The map gives seven miles on to Storgosia, but no figure at all for the stretch from Esco, though there is ample room for one; the fourteen written beside Esco may have been meant to stand twice. A river drawn here may mark where the next stretch begins, in place of the usual kink in the road line. Nothing more is recorded of this small station on the road from Esco.
