Road station

Hatita

Khirbet es-Samra

Hatita is the Aditha where, according to the late Roman register of garrisons, a cohort of Thracians was stationed; its ruins lie at Khirbet es-Samra in Jordan. Here the map forks puzzlingly, sending roads towards Adraha and Chanatha, although on the ground the routes only part at Bostra. Because the name and a figure had to sit low to keep clear of a river, the road line here is drawn wrongly. The station lies eleven Roman miles from Gadda and nine from Thantia.
