Ad Sava Municipium, a town with municipal rank, lay on the road from Sitifis to Saldae, now Bougie, in Mauretania, probably at the ruins of Hammam Guergour on the Oued Bou Sellam. The Roman register of routes knows it by the same name. On the map it stands twenty-five Roman miles from Tamannuna and another twenty-five from Ad Olivam, the next halt on the way to Saldae.
