Muslubio Horreta

Sidi Rehane

Muslubio Horreta was a stop in Mauretania Caesariensis, on the road from Saldae to Igilgili in modern Algeria, probably at Sidi Rehane. The second word stands for horrea, storehouses, and large state granaries probably stood here. The map counts twenty-six Roman miles, about thirty-eight kilometres, from Saldae and twenty-eight on to Choba; the Roman register of routes, which calls the place Musulubio, gives almost the same figures. The start of the line towards Choba is not marked.
