Ad Sextum

In der Nähe des "Sepolcro di Vibio Mariano (Nerograb)" [2]

Listen to the story

Ad Sextum, at the sixth, was the last stop on the road into Rome from the north, at the sixth milestone from the city, near the Roman tomb of Vibius Marianus, which people long called the tomb of Nero. The name appears only on this map. Right after it the map writes the words via Clodia, for the road that joins here, although that junction really lay further out, near the eleventh milestone.
