Thalbasaris stood on the road out of Tigranocerta, a city the map garbles into Triganocarten, fifteen from there and ten from Sitae. It is usually taken to be the same place as Thelbalane, and its site is most likely Tilmis. On the map it is a plain name without a drawing.
