Sitae

Ziyaret tepe

Sitae, at Ziyaret Tepe, is a junction on the map: one road leads on to Adipte, another crosses the Tigris to Ad Tygrem. The figure twelve on the way to Adipte is hard to read, for a crease runs through its first numeral and the parchment darkens here, but close inspection of the original confirms it. The Ravenna list writes Sipte or Siptae.
