Taspa

? bei Apa ?

Taspa is a name found only on this map, and probably a garbled one: the Ravenna list writes Capa and the geographer Ptolemy perhaps Chasbia, so a shared source may have read Caspa, and on the map the first letter turned into a T. Lystra has been suggested too, but that slip would be hard to explain. Perhaps the likeliest site is Apa, where a large prehistoric and ancient settlement with a bridge over the Çarşamba Suyu now lies under the waters of a reservoir. The station stood on the Roman road from Iconium towards Anemurion, known from its milestones.
