Anasamo is only a modern label for this river, which the map draws without any name; it is borrowed from the road station nearby. The stream is the ancient Asamus, a tributary of the Danube in what is now Bulgaria. Its drawing has a small quirk: the station Anasamo stands on the stretch before the one the river really crosses, the road on to Securispa, just before the river joins the Danube.
