This river is the Margus, today's Morava, the greatest river of Upper Moesia, which flows north into the Danube west of Viminacium and was navigable from Horrea Margi. The map draws it without a name. Its name can only be guessed from the station Margum Fl. on the road just above its middle course, and here the guess would be right; whether the mapmaker meant travellers to make it, though there was room to write the name, no one can say.
