Florentia, the flourishing one, was a small town on the Via Aemilia where it crossed the Arda, and to tell it apart from the great Florence, later sources call it Florentiola, little Florentia, the name that lives on as Fiorenzuola d'Arda. On the map a river runs right through the name, splitting it into Flo and rentia.
