Foro Adriani
Voorburg
Foro Adriani is Forum Hadriani, Hadrian's Market, today Voorburg near The Hague in the Netherlands, the chief town of the Cananefates, probably founded by the emperor Hadrian himself. A gravestone found far away in Pannonia names its dead man's home as Forum Hadriani in the province of Lower Germany, and a milestone of 162 found at Naaldwijk counts twelve Roman miles, about eighteen kilometres, from the town. On the map no distance at all is given between it and Lugdunum at the mouth of the Rhine.
