Fons Camerata

Hammam des Beni Guecha (Barrington) · Lucet (Miller)

Listen to the story

Fons Camerata means the vaulted spring, a water source under a vaulted roof, and it lay in Numidia on the road between Milev and Cuicul, perhaps at the hot springs of Hammam des Beni Guecha in Algeria. The map places it four Roman miles from its neighbours on either side, one of them Nodas Fusciani, the other an illegible name.
